About Us
Matrix was formed in Nineteen eighty-eight by Mario and Karen Nicholas. It combines the project management and organisation learnt from our large company backgrounds with the care, consideration and personal service essential to a small family business.
Matrix is not a box shifting operation, we visit manufacturers and review their products, technical support and service facilities to ensure they can work closely with us to provide the service we want to give to our clients, many of which have been with us for over fifteen years.
We specialise in achieving the maximum engineering performance from our cinema systems by calibrating and certification to THX, Home Acoustics Alliance HAA and Imaging Science Federation isf standard.
We are very experienced in all the disciplines necessary to install the technology required. Mario is always on site himself, very hands-on, ensuring the quality of the installation, taking full responsibility for the whole project, including the cabling installation. We work closely with local cabinetmakers and upholsterers to discreetly house the equipment in beautiful bespoke cabinetry. We never sub-contract the video & audio responsibility to other companies, with the exception of our partner NICEIC & ECA certified electrical contractor responsible for the site that may install cabling under Mario's guidance.
